Firstly I would like to convey my sincere thanks to you and the entire team for this recognition. It’s a big source of inspiration to me. I am a post graduate from IIT Dhanbad in Maths and Computing. 2. Take us through work in the professional sphere. What do you do and has it ever inspired your writing?
I am working as an HR officer (Scale 2) in ECGC ltd under the Ministry of Commerce, Govt Of India.Though my service sector has no connection with my extra curricular activities, but it is indeed the fast life of Mumbai which has compelled me to start writing again. I used to write Bengali poems in my school life, but they’re all unpublished. It’s the busy life of Mumbai which has rejuvenated my thirst for poesy again.
3. Tell us about your latest book …? What can the readers expect from it and who would the book most appeal to?
Actually I don’t have a solo book till date. But by God’s grace, and my readers’ support, soon I shall land up with my solo book
4. The names of your poems are quite unique and attractive. What is the scheme of ideas that you have behind the naming of your books?
Till now I have co authored poem anthologies, especially in Bengali Literature. So I am still not in a position to answer this question. But I pray to God, so that I should have the chance to answer this question soon.
5. Are you a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one? Do you often write daily?
This is a difficult question . Whenever and whatever comes to my mind, I just note them down. I cannot define it in a timeline concept.
6. What are your other interests apart from writing?
I am an intense fitness freak,I perform Yoga everyday. I have earned an honorary Doctorate degree from the well esteemed Grace Ladies Global Academy in the year 2022. Besides, I love to pursue Indian folk arts through the acrylic medium.
7. Any future projects that you are currently working on?
Currently I am working in certain Bengali anthologies. I am planning to write some travel stories too, may be in blogs or in book form. May God bless me with ample ideas for the same!
8. Your basic advice to budding writers.
I think I am too new to answer this question. But personally I feel, any budding writer should first select an appropriate topic to write in which he/she is expert in. Gradually he needs to come out of his comfort zone. This is very necessary to build his/her confidence level too.
