Taghrid Bou Merhi

Taghrid Bou Merhi is a prominent Lebanese poet, writer, and translator currently residing in Brazil. Born in Qab Elias, Bekaa Valley, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science and teaches Arabic to non-native speakers. After fleeing persecution under the Serbian regime, he studied directing in Slovenia and became an active member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), where he established the “Hamez Jashari” Military Artistic Troupe to uplift morale during wartime.
