We’ll also take a closer look at Jain’s latest book, “Be the First You,” which offers readers practical advice on how to establish their identity and achieve success.

  1. Take us through your work in the professional sphere. What do you do and has it ever inspired your writing?

First of all, I must say I am very much thrilled and honoured to be selected for such a prestigious award . Secondly, wishing you and your team a very blissful evening . I ,Sneha Jain am a 21 year old writer ,hailing from the city of Karnal situated in the heart of Haryana. Presently , I am pursuing my Masters in English . I started my journey as a writer in 2020 when I was 18 . I have written 5 books upto now and most of them are poetry books.

Being a student , my inspiration came from my school teacher . She herself is a very down to earth personality who has a lot of knowledge . She motivated me to write and inspire others .

  1. Are you a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one? Do you often write daily?

To be honest , it is really very difficult for me to categorise myself as being either a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one because it depends on the thoughts .. there are times when suddenly , out of the blue some thoughts come in your mind and you scribble them down on paper while there are other moments of opening the diary daily and writing down some of the feelings in a poetry form .

Yes, i do write often . I have had this habit since my school days.

  1. What themes or subjects do you find most interesting to explore in your writing, and why?

Amazing question. See, my main aim to write is to voice up my opinions and motivate others to do the same, through my writings . So , to voice up the opinions, empower the women and the youth have been the main themes I prefer to write on . This , not only has helped people emotionally but rather I have recieved several messages from women all over the world , gladly accepting that they did get empowered reading my second book “She-The Withered Flower”.

My fifth book -“Be the first you” has also been hailed by the youth a lot as they did get motivated through my words . So yes , my themes and subjects have always been clear.

  1. Can you share any insights or lessons that you have learned during your writing career that have helped you to become a better writer?

Not sure if it is a perfect question or more than perfect … because I did get unexpected lessons during my career. I would preach the budding writers to not let any criticism affect your hardwork , ever. Condescends will come and go but your will power comes only once . I had my critics , but they made me stronger and helped me get better at my writing because I had to prove to them that I could, I am and I will be achieving milestones in my life.

  1. Can you describe your writing process and any particular techniques or strategies that you use to stay motivated and productive?

As it is a fact that “Practice makes man perfect” , it is applicable to the writing career too. I always practiced a lot before becoming fluent in my writings. Thought there are none strategies but I always have it in my mind that “Humans are bound to make mistakes “. Therefore , I never get scared about making mistakes because we can make a mistake once or twice and its absolutely fine. What’s most important is your self confidence and self – trust.

  1. What inspired you to pursue a career in writing, and how did you get started in the industry?

God sent my school teacher as my inspiration … She was the only one who patiently listened to my queries , solved them and appreciated my writings . She motivated me to take a step forward and then I joined instagram at the age of 18 , anonymously. I posted my writings and eventually got offers to participate in anthologies . I gave one poem each in two anthologies . It was then that I brought my real name forward on my instagram page as I became a published author . After that, I published my first book “The Visionary Lights from a Dark Mind” .

  1. What are your other interests apart from writing?

Anything that includes creativity ,to be precise, I love drawing and baking the most , apart from writing.

  1. Tell us about your latest book …? What can the readers expect from it and who would the book most appeal to?

My latest book , “Be the first you” is a motivational book . It contains knowledge upon how one can and one should establish their own identity . Readers can expect some reality, some motivation and some quotes from the book .

I quote my own saying-

“At no time, forge yourself to be the next THEM, instead, buckle down to be the first YOU”
