The June 2025 Edition Vol-1 of Namya brings together six powerful writer’s voices, including Kiran.M, Shreyakshi Singh, Bhargavi Mishra, Nikita Kaushik, Priyanka Chakravarty and Anjali Saxena (Prabal). Each of the six writers contributes an unique perspective, weaving narratives that resonate deeply. This issue also features five real-life stories that celebrate personal growth and societal transformation stories that embody perseverance, creativity, and the beauty found in overcoming life’s obstacles.

NIDHI PRITAM
Nidhi Pritam, a passionate model, and health adviser who proudly embraces her identity and inspires others. Born in Delhi, living in Pune, Nidhi has become a powerful voice for people with vitiligo. She believes that her condition is not a flaw but a mark of uniqueness and she wears it like a badge of pride. Her journey into the spotlight began when she participated in Miss/Mrs. Retro Glam, where she earned the title Retro Glam Miss India Inspirational 2024.
Her story was later featured in The Times of India on June 19, 2024, where she connected deeply with readers. She took her message to a global stage at the 4th International Vitiligo Show in Egypt, where she shared her experience. She was crowned Miss Maharashtra 2024, became the 2nd Runner-Up Miss 2024, and won the Miss India Star Diamond 2024 title. Her modeling work, captured by renowned photographer Jacob Xavier, has been featured on global platforms like Fine Art America, Artmajeur, and Redbubble, reaching audiences in over 190 countries. .

SWATI DARUNDE
Swati Darunde, a 34 year old, transforming her life from a person of low self esteem to someone who can win the world. Since her childhood, she was an overwheigt kid, who got bullied by her friends, family and relatives. In 2006, when she was in 10th standard she gained 17kgs in the short span of 5months which was concerning, but discovered it to be Hypothyroid.
After discovering life became tougher, though she tried diets, potion cuts, gym, and cycling. Since 2020 her fitness journey started with calorie deficit diet, stayed active and religiously doing exercise. She reduced 34 kgs and came down to 68kgs within the time span of 2.5years. Along with her IT job she is also perfectly balancing her healthy lifestyle without starving and taking balanced diet.

SAKSHI PATEKAR
Sakshi Sanket Patekar has emerged as a rising star in the world of dance at such a tender age. A student of SNBP Techno School, Bavdhan, she stands out not only for her academic excellence but also for her extraordinary talent in dance.
She is especially known for her skills in hula hoop dancing, and her versatility spans across various dance forms including belly dance, lyrical, hip-hop, Bollywood contemporary, and more. Her journey began at the age of two, and with the support of her parents, she received formal training at Quixotic Dance Studio, where she continues to refine her art under expert guidance.

DR. RAJAN SHASTRI
Dr.Rajan Shastri, a distinguished psychiatrist, spiritual thinker, and emotional wellness guide from Punjab, India, has spent his life bridging the realms of clinical science and soulful wisdom. Renowned for his compassionate work with individuals facing addiction, emotional trauma, and existential crises, he is much more than a doctor. ANUJ SAINI
The cover star, Anuj Saini, an emerging name in the Indian entertainment industry, making waves with his versatility and perseverance. Hailing from Delhi with a background in civil engineering, Anuj moved to Mumbai to pursue his passion for acting. Like many outsiders with no connections in the industry, his journey began with struggles. Spending hours at Prithvi Theatre, building networks, assisting stalwarts like Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak, and giving over 3000 auditions.
His breakthrough came with a commercial for Parle Hide & Seek during the World Cup, and since then, he has appeared in over 100 advertisements alongside big names like Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Janhvi Kapoor. Anuj made his film debut in Rajkumar Santoshi’s period drama Gandhi Godse: Ek Yudh, where he played the romantic lead opposite Tanisha Santoshi. Set around the time of India’s independence, the film not only explored the ideological clash between Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse but also showcased a tender parallel love story. His recent movie, Ayushmati Geeta Matric Pass, is a rom-com with a strong social message on women’s empowerment and the importance of education in rural India. Shot in Banaras, the film has been well-received and is set to release on OTT platforms soon. Beyond films, Anuj has become a familiar face in music videos, featuring in over 50 videos for top labels like T-Series, Zee Music, and Sony Music. Namya Foundation is a group of companies under which Namya Magazine exists which was founded by Puja Kumari on 15th February 2022, and co-founded by Nikita Mukherjee. Puja Kumari is hailing from Bihar. She is a 20-year-old Ambitious Girl. She was a student of jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya.She is a founder, Author, poetess, co-author, and Hindi writer. Nikita Mukherjee belongs to West Bengal. She is an English Graduate who is a passionate, prolific creative writer and has left her mark on various anthologies under different publications. She has co-authored in more than 40 anthologies and compiled one anthology named ‘Dream of a Brown Girl’.She loves to try and experiment with new forms of poetries.
