It beautifully captures the essence of pivotal figures who guided his journey, blending elements of faith and education seamlessly.

Early Life and Career Struggles:

In his autobiography, Dr. Kalam shares stories about his early life, the challenges he faced, and how he worked really hard to achieve his dreams. Beginning of Career:

After finishing his studies in Aerospace engineering at a place called Madras Institute of Technology, Dr. Kalam started working at a company called Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. His first job there was to create a prototype of a vehicle that could hover over the ground.

Transition to ISRO and Space Exploration:

Later, he moved to a place called ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) where he played a big role in starting something called the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre. He also helped in making the first rocket for space travel from India. This was a really important step for the country’s space programs.

Role in Defense and Nuclear Programs:

During the 1990s and early 2000s, Dr. Kalam went to work at DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization). In ‘Creation,’ readers witness Kalam’s relentless struggle at ISRO, culminating in his pivotal role as the project director of SLV, a monumental achievement for India’s space program. Chapter 3 delves into the subsequent decade at DRDL, showcasing Kalam’s transformation of a faltering laboratory into a powerhouse contributing significantly to the nation’s missile systems.

The final chapter, ‘Contemplation,’ offers profound reflections on Kalam’s vibrant life, albeit omitting mention of his prestigious Bharat Ratna honor.
