Who is she? By Manaswita Bhattacharyya Mukhaty

She is a word which describes so many relations, emotions, feelings. In a word, she encompasses the whole world. But ” who is she?” She is a woman, who is taken continuously just like granted. She is attimes objectified, not treated equally, very much judged.

The funny part of judging is that when ‘she ‘ is judged by ‘her’. Because ‘her’ used to follow certain rules or norms, ‘ she’ needs to follow those. Its not only the patriarchal society which forces every girl, but at times women dominates women in such a way that even it surpaseses men.

Is it right if we describe women, just as daughter, daughter- in – law, mother etc. We can even describe her as a doctor, teacher, engineer, saleswomen, driver etc.

Now those who questions, why is she questioned so much in her roles? I believe that she can answer all the questions very well, so the questions remains unsolved by the questioners

Why does she need not respond to all the questions asked? Its just, she embraces herself so well, and remain content with herself so she need not answer to all the unwanted questions. Yes, its right, she paves her own path, treds on it in her own style; she even feeks not to match her own style with somebody else. She brings her own style quotient. Now the readers, thinking about her dress? Nope style quotient is her own way that encompasses her. It may be her lifestyle, way of thinking, her dress anything.

While writing this short piece, I not only describe me, but all the ladies out their, my readers, just believe in what you believe. Don’t shatter down in the dust of others belief. She stands strong, she will be strong. Love, dress, eat, earn, live your life in your terms and make conditions which satisfy your own conditions. This is she. She is a diva in herself.
