TRINA KANUNGO’s exciting journey continues as she gets the MAHADEVI VERMA SAHITYA SHIROMANI

Trina Kanungo, is a post graduate in Mathematics and Computing from IIT-ISM Dhanbad. Currently posted  as Assistant Manager, in ECGC Ltd , Mumbai,  under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government Of India, Trina is an ardent lover of Indian Fine Arts and Literature.

As we remember Late Mahadevi Verma Ji on the occasion of her 115th birthday, Cherry Book Awards felicitated the chosen literary personalities for their amazing contribution to Indian Literature. Trina Kanungo was chosen as one of the prestigious awardee for her impactful writings.

Her Achievements include:

q  Qualified  in the Senior National Talent Search Contest 2006 in Science, conducted by Central Institute of General Knowledge Learning, New Delhi
q  Secured 100% marks in Mathematics in Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination 2007
q  Winner of Inter School Mock Parliament at Pinnacle 2007, conducted by
Pearls of God, Hind motor, Hooghly.
q  Secured 3^rd position in Inter School Debate Competition 2008, conducted by Maria’s Day School, Howrah
  q       Co-author of 15+ anthologies in English and Bengali Literature, winner of  Bankim Chandra Chatterjee Kala Samman Award, in the category of literary person by Cherry book awards
