SysTools, a prominent player in the domain of digital forensics and data recovery, has taken a significant step forward in bolstering its cybersecurity vertical by appointing Lt Col Santosh Khadsare (Retd.), a highly respected Indian Army veteran, as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO) – Cybersecurity. With an illustrious career spanning over 20 years in the Indian Army, Lt Col Khadsare brings with him a wealth of operational experience, particularly in the domains of cyber defense, information security, and digital forensics. His military tenure was marked by his involvement in several strategic initiatives aimed at protecting critical national infrastructure from emerging cyber threats. His contributions were instrumental in formulating and executing security frameworks to counteract evolving digital warfare scenarios.
Post-retirement, Lt Col Khadsare seamlessly transitioned into the corporate cybersecurity sphere, where he rapidly made his mark. He held the position of Vice President – Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) at eSec Forte Technologies. In this role, he spearheaded numerous high-stakes cyber investigations, offering expertise in breach response strategies, digital evidence management, and forensic analysis.
In his previous role at SysTools as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – DFIR, he led the digital forensics and incident response wing, driving innovation in investigative methodologies and strengthening the company’s capabilities in handling complex cyber incidents.
Now stepping into the role of Chief Business Officer – Cybersecurity, Lt Col Khadsare will lead the strategic vision for SysTools’ cybersecurity division. His responsibilities include enhancing the company’s market presence, expanding service offerings, and ensuring that the cybersecurity solutions developed are both future-ready and aligned with industry compliance standards. His mastery of threat intelligence, malware analytics, and regulatory ecosystems positions him as a dynamic force to lead SysTools into its next phase of cyber innovation.
