When asked why she deserved to win the Bharatendu Harishchandra Book Prize, Mayaa SH said, “Bhartendu Harishchandra born on 9 September is the father of Hindi language. In modern India, Harishchandra is considered the father of Hindi. The writings of the Father of Hindi -Bharatendu Harishchand are praised worldwide. He wrote texts on the sufferings of the poor people, country’s poverty, natural disasters, storms, women’s empowerment, and he was against caste discrimination. He was a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu, and composed and sung many songs on him.
Contemporary Literature precisely, refers to postmodernism and what has come afterward. As an expert in contemporary literature reflecting on works of prose, poetry, and drama, my craft has been primarily focussed on reflections of the social , economic and political viewpoints in society .One can focus on the feelings, emotions and emphasize on social issues either plaguing the societies as the authors usually experience them. The writing styles can vary, but the main idea is to convey realistic characters and experiences. One must manage to engage people in one’s work through careful precision. Every word is delicately placed, creating a different experience for all eyes that wander across the page.”
