Story Tellers Club was founded in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic prompted people all over the world to turn to online platforms for entertainment. A group of young people had the brilliant idea of creating an initiative wherein stories would be told. The club started with a small number of members and has grown exponentially since then, with its members spanning multiple countries and continents. They have since developed an online community where people can listen to their stories and continue to take part in different activities within the club.

The Story Tellers Club’s online session, named Oru Kadha Sollatuma, quickly attracted the attention of Malayalis all over the world. Over time, these sessions gained more and more traction, with over 22 sessions had been conducted and thousands of audience participating. Their project ‘A Day With 250 Stories’  offers a unique approach to help presenters, trainers, and teachers make their presentations more enjoyable and engaging. By teaching them how to tell stories, the program provides a way to help keep an audience’s attention with engaging stories that don’t sound forced or contrived. It can provide the tools needed to help speakers craft engaging, humorous, and memorable stories.

Overall, the program provides a way to increase audience engagement and make presentations more enjoyable for everyone involved.

This Organization’s ‘Story Based Classroom’ project is a unique initiative aimed at making learning more engaging for children. It involves the use of storytelling to make classes more interesting and allow the students to connect with their teachers and subjects in a more meaningful way. Through this project, teachers are encouraged to use stories and anecdotes from their own experiences as well as from other sources to make lessons more interactive and inspiring. This project has been widely accepted by children and teachers alike, proving that stories can be used as an effective tool for teaching in the classroom. Story Based Classroom is an innovative 3-day story workshop for Teachers who wish to create a more engaging and interactive classroom environment for their students. It provides hands-on, experiential activities and lesson plan that teachers can use to bring stories to life, sparking the imagination of their students and creating unforgettable memories.

Additionally, Story Based Classroom allows teachers to share their own stories, allowing students to connect with their teacher on a deeper level. The program also offers an array of activities and materials aimed at strengthening family relationships through the ‘Family Wisdom Programme’.

Storytellers’ workshop is something that is done to nurture a storytelling culture in India. In foreign countries, career opportunities known as a storyteller are being seen in this period. Similarly, they are putting forward a vision to create a career for storytellers in India. Storytellers’ workshop is a great way to achieve this goal and it allows storytellers to explore the depths of storytelling and create stories that are both entertaining and inspiring. It also gives the chance to hone their craft and make a living out of it. This would be a great boost to the Indian economy, as it would create more jobs in the creative sector. Furthermore, it could help revive the traditional art of storytelling in India, thus fostering a stronger storytelling culture.

The Storytellers Club is a unique venture that is powered by a team of five members, under the leadership of Nisar Pattuvam. He has been in the field of training and storytelling for twelve years now and his expertise has enabled the success of the club.
