Bestselling Author and Poet Michelle Ayon-Navajas’ WordPress site crossed 100,0000 views. Her blog, named Michnavs, has currently more than 10,000 followers, enjoying reading and Michelle’s heart-touching poems.
“I started this blog in 2013 with no intentions of getting published or noticed but as my avenue to channel my creative thoughts.”, Michelle said.
“My blog started as anonymous without my name and identity, but I still got followers appreciating my literary work.”, she added.
Michelle’s passion for writing kept her going and active. The major categories that she covers in this blog are poetry, short stories, abuse and violence, thoughts to live by, travel, and stage play. The blog also has separate categories of posts for parenting, coffee, food, books/authors, and fashion.
“I didn’t even need a muse then to write my poems as i love to stay and linger longer in cafes and listen to people exchanging stories. yes, we all know how people in cafes are. they are loud, so i heard stories of couples breaking up, of couples getting engaged or of families in trouble and i write about them.”, Michelle exclaimed.
“My earliest popular poems were the ones written from a local cafe in my hometown. Little did i know that i was already gaining followers with how i turn ordinary day to day lives of people i met into poetry, until one day i got a WP notification saying i got over 1k followers, that’s when i dawned on me that people like what i do.”, she added
The engagement on the site, and the highest traffic comes from her literary home, India.
“Most of the followers of my poetry site are Indian bloggers, and I am thankful to each of them for interacting and liking my content,” said Michelle.
Meanwhile, the Filipino author continues to engage the readers with her bestselling books. Interestingly, ever since she made her literary entry to the Indian market, she is renowned for her books debuting at #1 at the bestsellers chart soon after publication.
Michelle, who has published eight books, is currently one of the most in-demand writers, particularly in India.
