1. Tell us something about yourself. What are your likes and dislikes?

I am an author and a poet based in Rajasthan.

I have always been fascinated by the power of words to connect us, to move us, and to help us understand the complexities of the world around us.

So I strive to capture the essence of life through my words and share it with others, to connect with them on a deeper level.

I believe that every experience, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, has the potential to teach us something valuable. Whether it’s a moment of joy, a heartbreak, or a challenge we face, there is always something to be learned and taken away from it.

Likes

I like Reading – I love diving into new books and exploring different genres and styles of writing. It allows me to learn new things and gain fresh perspectives on the world around me.

I also enjoy painting. I am a movie enthusiast and love to travel.

My dislikes

I dislike negativity, I find negativity to be draining and unproductive.

Also I dislike close-mindedness and dishonesty.

2. Take us through your work in the professional sphere. What do you do and has it ever inspired your writing?

I completed my masters in Public administration and MBA in marketing. Currently I am focused on my writing.

Yes definitely everything around inspires my writing, as I draw inspiration from many different sources. Sometimes my inspiration comes from my own life experiences or the experiences of people I know.

3. Tell us about your latest book? What can the readers expect from it and who would the book most appeal to?

My latest book is “Mosaic of Autumn” that released last month.

The collection predominantly explores themes of love, pain, and life in both a philosophical and psychological manner. The poems lucidly express the impact of varied emotions on the human psyche and oscillate between contrasting themes of love and betrayal, hope and dismay, and life and death. Just as autumn is at once symbolic of abundance and, at the same time, a symbol of decay and death, the poems make us aware of the transience of things and the need to accept change.

Readers can expect to be taken on a journey through a variety of emotions and experiences, that will make them reflect on their own lives and experiences.

Whether you are a longtime lover of poetry or a newcomer to the genre, I believe that my new collection offers something for everyone. The poems are written with a sense of honesty and vulnerability, and I hope that they will resonate with readers on a deep and personal level.

4. The names of your book are quite unique and attractive. What is the scheme of ideas that you have behind the naming of your books?

Thank you so much.

I believe the title must always resonate with the content of the book.

Just as autumn is at once symbolic of abundance and, at the same time, a symbol of decay and death, the poems make us aware of the transience of things and the need to accept change.

Hence, I chose the name “Mosaic of Autumn”

Because the book predominantly explores themes of love, pain, and life in both a philosophical and psychological manner. The poems deal with the impact of varied emotions on the human psyche and oscillate between contrasting themes of love and betrayal, hope and dismay, and life and death.

5. Are you a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one? Do you often write daily?

I would say I am a bit of both.

A certain level of discipline is definitely essential, but I believe one must not discipline the spontaneity of ideas that flow freely within us.

So I try to  maintain a writing routine and make an effort to write daily, but I remain open to inspiration and the unexpected twists and turns that can arise in the creative process.

While there are certainly days when the words flow more easily than others, I find that maintaining a consistent writing routine helps me to stay focused.

6. What are your other interests apart from writing?

I love reading, travelling, painting and sports apart from writing.

7. Any future projects that you are currently working on?

Currently I am working on a non fiction book and a short story collection.

8. Your basic advice to budding writers.

My advice would be to write every single day and read widely.

Be ready to embrace failure and see it as an opportunity to learn and grow as a writer.

But always believe in yourself, writing can be a challenging and often lonely pursuit, but it’s important to believe in yourself and your abilities. Keep writing, keep learning, and keep pushing yourself to be the best writer you can be.
