Vanshika Mishra – As an Author who had this inclination toward writing since childhood I was also  very fond of reading and after reading some of amazing literature it made me inspired to create my own writing    would come to me effortlessly not like some other people who treated writing as chore it made me feel little bit bewildered how can this be any hard for anyone  but as I grew up I could see my gifts and how fast I could come up with a topic or story with nothing, it made me amazed and after few push from my family I submitted my few stories online and it was highly praised and even awarded at an international level that made me feel that I should express myself through my books so that’s what I did and became bestseller on Kindle.

We would love to know what it means to be one of India’s youngest female bestselling authors?

Vanshika MishraIt was a very pleasurable surprise for me when I saw my name on news as India’s youngest bestseller it made me more responsible and mature as now I had an  audience  whom I am responsible for but still it feels very unreal and amazing to be Youngest female  best seller in India as I wanted to be inspiration for myself and all girl to have their own identity.

Have your studies ever conflicted with your writing? Or has it influenced it in any way?

Vanshika Mishra – My studies were never affected by writing.Writing  has it made me more passionate to create bigger goals and dream to fulfill and create a name for myself it made me realize the importance of identity ,carrer and fame

A lot of research has gone into the writing of Yosava – the moon princess and the warrior of Mars. What was your method of researching before writing, and how much time did you devote to it?

Vanshika Mishra – As I said I had interest and curiosity since childhood and my keen interest in spiritual things and astrology helped a lot in writing of this book.

Tell us about your upcoming book and when did you first conceive the idea of writing it?

Vanshika Mishra – My upcoming book is TWISTER it is a  collection of short stories from old woman, to college going guy, from love story to family drama from comedy to learning it’s a full package of twisted drama and fun which can be enjoyable for any age group it’s would be very fun to see what happens at last and how our characters solve their twisted problem with more twisted solutions.

I had a drastic transformation in my  mindset it also  reflects a lot in my writing as I stopped controlling the things that are not in my control and learned to surrender to God as my Book TWISTER characters also have hard time to let go and try to control every inch of their life which make them miserable than how they come out of that twisted problem with twisted solution.

What is your message to Indian teenagers who want to write their own books?

Vanshika Mishra –  In my advice I want all people reading this article to not get confused as you will read many articles about many people becoming doctor, IAS, Police officer, Musician, Writers, Poet, Businessman but do what you want as Noone can be better than you in your path but if you copy someone’s else path remember copy is not as valuable as originality so be original and enjoy life.

Who is your most important critic, and why?

Vanshika Mishra – I don’t believe in critic system as I don’t believe that everything that I write will connect with everyone even somethings that I wrote few years ago it doesn’t resonate with me people ,circumstance change so do I so I don’t take anything personally as whatever good or bad people say it’s about them.

In your opinion, how can modern writers inculcate reading habits into the younger generation?

Vanshika Mishra – Modern writer can incline the young generation by understanding every new generation closely instead of trying to fit them in one category and learn about every individual instead of separating yourself from them and connecting with them.
