Rowena Liwanag Suarez has long dreamed of publishing a book. However, that dream was often set aside in favor of life’s many duties and responsibilities.

“At some point, I thought it would never happen,” Rowena shared. But life has a way of surprising us. Just when she had nearly given up on publishing, she met fellow Filipino poet Michelle Ayon Navajas through the WordPress community. Michelle, a six-time #1 Amazon bestselling author and editor, became a mentor and guide, helping Rowena turn her dream into reality.

Now, under Michelle’s mentorship, Rowena is proud to launch her debut book, Sweetbriar, published by Central Books Philippines. The book was co-edited by bestselling authors Aditya Mishra and Michelle Ayon Navajas.

Join Rowena at her first-ever solo book-signing event at the Manila International Book Fair, SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Manila, Philippines, on September 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 3:30 PM.

Rowena will be signing copies of Sweetbriar and warmly welcoming family, friends, and supporters to celebrate this milestone with her.
