शैलेषकुमार सुरसिंगभाई बारीआ जिनका तखल्लुस ‘अष्मेश ‘शैमल’ है, वे सरकारी वाणिज्य कोलेज, वडाली, जिला : साबरकांठा, गुजरात राज्य में लेखाशास्त्र (Accountancy) विषय के मदद्निश प्राध्यापक के पद पर पिछले तीन सालों से कार्यरत है । अध्यापन क्षेत्र में उनका अनुभव कुल १३ सालों से भी अधिक है। सहलेखक के रूप में इन्होने २ पुस्तक लेखन में अपना योगदान दिया है, जिससे ‘शिक्षण में नाटक और कला’ तथा ‘Silence : The Noise of Heart’ शामिल है। शैलेष बारीआ गिटारिस्ट एवं बांसुरीवादक भी है।
