मेरी नज़र न मिलती है उस से
फिर भी उसको मैं रोज़ तकती हूँ,
डर लगता है, मैं कहीं उसे खो न दूँ
जब भी इज़हार की बात को सोचती हूँ,
मेरे दिल चुभन सी होती है
जिस दिन उसे ने देखती हूँ,
मेरा दिल भी ये कितना पागल है
जो उसका ही हुआ चले जाता है,
मैं अब तो अपना कह दूँ उसको
जब भी वो मेरी ओर चला आता है,
क्या सोचता होगा वो मुझको भी
हर पल मैं भी यही सोचती हूँ,
चलो हुआ बहुत इंतज़ार तो अब
मैं अपनी इच्छाएं प्रकट ही कर देती हूँ।
तेरे पथ का दिया बनी मैं सजन
उठाउंगी तेरी राहों से काँटे,
प्यार से सुलाऊंगी अपनी बाहों में
जो प्यार से तू उसमें रातें काटे,
तेरा दुःख मैं पी जाऊंगी
तुझको सुख पहुँचाऊंगी,
प्राण देकर भी निभाऊंगी
जो भी करूँगी मैं तुमसे वादे।
