Ayesha F Muskaan who is among one of the well known writers of India conducted ” The Bean Grill open mic competition” in order to encourage the budding talent.
The show took place at the city’s chick studio “Pops of Pastel studio“. The show saw participation of amazing poets from all over India. Needless to say, the budding poets and artists left the audience urging for more. Renowned young poets Shri Deepak Tripathi and Capt Saurabh ( famously known as Fazal ) very kindly agreed to judge the show.
The poets recited poetry on topics like mother’s love, social issues and love life. The zest and enthusiasm in their narration was definitely applauding. Praful bagged the first prize by narrating Hindi poetry called “Dhunwa” and Sourav Dey too bagged first prize for his English poetry.
The storytellers won hearts of everyone with their soothing narrative style. Adding unexpected kind of glamour by speaking on topics like old school, love in nineties and a sweet love story. Kamal Singh secured first place and Abhigna secured the second place.
The musicians/ singers attempted all time favourite and melodious songs from Rehna hai Tera Dil me, khamoshiyaan, Teri deewani and bheegi raatein. This for sure made everyone nostalgic. Ruchir won the first place for singing but Akarsh for sure, definitely won hearts of everyone.
The Stand up comedy was done by Raghavendra and Saif Ali. Their performances created a light and beautiful environment making everyone forget their problems as they rolled into laughter. Saif Ali bagged first prize, nevertheless to say Raghavendra did an amazing job too.
